Quick Overview

The Andatech Car Ignition Interlock Breathalyser FR9000 is a handheld breathalyser with a vehicle ignition system. The driver whose car equipped with the unit must complete a breath alcohol test with a result below a preset limit before they can start the vehicle.

Installing the Andatech Car Ignition Interlock Breathalyser FR9000 will help prevent accidents caused by drink driving.

Features:

Complies with Australian Standard AS3547 Type 4 Device
Electrochemical fuel cell sensor
Simple calibration
Voice indicator
Onboard date logger
Meeting minder
Circumvention record
Rolling retest
Bypass detection
Power interrupt
Emergency restart
Infrared/RS232/USB data transfer

Key Features:

• Bypass detection. An instrument detects whether the vehicle is running. If a car is running, but the driver has not taken a breath test yet, the circumvention alarm will sound. The interlock device then enters a lockout state for a predetermined period.
• Circumvention record. If the interlock device detects a bypass, or detects a failed rolling retest, the logger will record all events.
• Emergency restart. In case of a vehicle stall, this feature allows the vehicle to have an emergency restart within several minute of shutdown.
• Onboard date logger. A computer records every interaction a driver has with the vehicle. Recorded interactions include activity, time, date and BAC % level. The computer can store more than 8000 separate events (upgradable) and display the content in a summary or detailed format.
• Power interrupts record of when the vehicle's power has been disconnected or interrupted. This may occurs if the driver attempts to tamper with repairs or replaces the battery. The driver is required to provide documentation of repairs.
• Rolling retest. A test is taken prior to the initial breath test. This is the device's primary defence against circumvention. The test can be set to occur at fixed or random intervals. If a driver fails the test, the circumvention alarm will sound.
• Simple calibration eliminates the need for service centre to manually adjust device calibration.
• Support infrared, RS232, and USB download for data and reports.
• Temperature and humidity sensors. Sensors to prevent circumvention measure both human temperature and humidity.
